When his grandfather begins to lose his memories to dementia, twelve-year-old Jonty is offered the chance to explore a magical realm where forgotten memories come to life.
This incredible fantasy audiobook, written by William Yamaguchi Dobson, is perfect for kids and entire families. Granny Eats Wolf was tasked to bring this unique story, that blends Japanese yōkai folklore with human drama, alive.
We brought together some of finest UK British Japanese and Asian acting and musical talent for this project as well as some Hollywood sparkle - recorded authentic Japanese sounds in Tokyo and Kyushu with Nick Luscombe - and commissioned mixed British Vietnamese composer, Emily Tran (Gatsby In Harlem) to create our beautiful original score, featuring traditional Japanese instruments such as the koto, shakuhachi and shamisen.
Available in Dolby Atmos.
